P7M02 Umbriel, a moon of Uranus will occult a mag 13.4 star the early morning of 21 Sept 2020. Umbriel has a diameter of 1169 km, 0.085", so the shadow path will be quite wide across North America: Northern USA and sub-arctic Canada. In the east, the predicted path should extend from central ME to northern QE; in the west from N. CA to central BC. The uncertainty bands are slightly less than a diameter, and extend from Baffin Island to VA and SE AK to S.CA.
In the case of an occultation, there should be a mag drop of 1.8 for a maximum of 68.3 seconds.
I'll put the Occult prediction I made 2020 Apr 18.0 in my folder in the Files section, and revise it if there looks like there are any changes. I've no idea yet how close this will be to mag ~5.7 Uranus.
